Every log we sell comes from the Llewesog Estate, owned and cared for by the Williams family in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, where the woodlands have been stewarded for generations.
Our firewood is harvested as part of the ongoing management of these woodlands, ensuring they remain healthy, diverse, and thriving. Many of the trees were planted by the current generation of the Williams family in the 1960s and 70s as a commercial crop, and that legacy continues today.
Each year, new trees are planted as part of a long-term plan — securing a consistent supply of quality firewood for the future, while providing vital habitats for wildlife and enhancing the natural beauty of the landscape.
From forest to fire, our supply chain couldn’t be shorter. Logs are felled, processed, seasoned, and sold right here on the estate. This local cycle means minimal transportation, reduced emissions, and a smaller carbon footprint — so you can enjoy your fire knowing it’s fuelled by wood that’s truly sustainable.
